The singers, who are students of Beihang University in China, had invited their colleagues and family for a music concert before the unfortunate incident occurred.
According to reports, the incident which occurred at the University music hall however didn’t record any death, with over 20 students left injured.
Investigations are ongoing to find out whether the incident was caused by a mechanical fault, human error, or whether the weight of the singers was just too much for the stage to carry.
The management of the school have also decided to bear all medical costs from the accident.
