The Oscars nominees list is finally here, and Christopher Nolan’s ‘Oppenheimer’ led the list with thirteen nominations while Yorgos Lanthimos ‘Poor Things’ followed with eleven nominations.

Martin Scorsese’s ‘Killer of the Flower Moon’ earned ten nominations, and Greta Gerwig’s ‘Barbie’ surprisingly got eight nominations. The Barbie director was not nominated for Best Director, and Margot Robbie, the lead, received no nomination in the Best Actress category.
In the past year, Oppenheimer has broken records as it grossed over $955 million worldwide at the box office, thereby becoming the third-highest-grossing film of 2023, only behind Barbie and The Super Mario Bros. Movie.
The 96th Academy Awards is expected to hold at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California, on March 10, 2024.
