Paralympian Oscar Pistorius will not be participating in any track events in 2013, according to his coach.
‘He is nowhere close to being in a position to train. He just does fitness exercises in the morning with his family’ said Ampie Louw.
Earlier this year Oscar Pistorius was charged with pre-meditated murder on February 14, for the deadly shooting of his model girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp.
Some meet promoters are willing to give Pistorius invites to run while some others are skeptical about him participating.
According to one promoter the participation of Oscar Pistorius at a meet will turn into a ‘media circus’.
