Tonight, urban higlife singer Adekunle Gold will be holding his debut headline concert themed ‘One Night Stand with Adekunle Gold’ #ONSWAG along with his 79th Element Band in Lagos.
This comes after the singer has held two successful editions of the event in the 02 Academy, London and Button Factory in Dublin. Thousands of fans have converged at the event venue right on time, but the show is yet to kick off.
Adekunle Gold had announced that the venue will be open for access at 6pm and the show will kick off at 7:30pm. It’s a couple of minutes to 9:30pm, and the show is yet to begin. Sadly, at 6pm, the event hall also wasn’t open for access and attendees were left to stand outside for over 1 hour.
When the hall was finally open, guests were disappointed to see that the stage was still being set up.
This is the singers first concert in Lagos and all of these might be as a result of inexperience but we hope the quality of the show will be worth the wait.
