Mother’s day passed in Nigeria with little or no celebration as the entire nation remains engulfed by sorrow at the abduction of 237 girls.
Women from different parts of the country used the opportunity to plead with the government to intensify its efforts towards the return of the missing girls. One of such was actress Omoni Oboli who got her three sons involved in the campaign.
Each of the boys and their mother had a cardboard bearing inscriptions in support of the campaign.
Since the campaign began few weeks ago, Oboli has been active, joining the protest marches and getting her social media accounts busy with posts in support of efforts to #BringBackOurGirls.
