The grand finale of the 2014 Hennessy Artistry Tour held on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at The Landmark Centre in Lagos and the event gave fans a spectacular treat as they were reunited with some of the pioneers of the Nigerian music industry.
The fans, who were expecting to see their regular artistes perform, were astonished when veteran Ghetto soldier, Daddy Showkey opened the stage with throw back songs which got everyone on their feet.
He was followed by others like Marvelous Benji, Danfo Drivers, Azadus, Ruggedman, Jazzman Olofin, Baba Fryo, and Blacky. Other veteran acts who took fans back to the years gone past include Shifi and Zeal of Styl- Plus while Olu Maintain wasn’t left out of the spectacle with his gripping performance.
To end the 2014 Hennessy Artistry tour with a unique performance after Wikid and 2face performed were the pioneers of Nigerian RnB, Faze, Blackface of Plantashun Boiz who joined 2face on stage as they brought back memories with a number of special performances.
Other artistes who came on stage to light up the night include Young GreyC, Reminisce, Runtown, Shaydee, Yung L, and Lil Kesh.
