Popular celebrity hangout, O’jez Night club, will on Monday, November 26, 2011 host returnee music star Mike Okri.
Fans of the singer, known for his 80’s hit track, ‘Omoge’, would have the opportunity of seeing him perform some of his new songs, having being absent from the scene for over a decade.
Beginning from 7pm, Joseph Odobeatu-owned O’jez Restaurant, will be humming with activities as leading lights in the entertainment industry as well as fans will gather round in a festive atmosphere to be serenaded with live music from one of the nation’s foremost proponents of live music.
According to organizers, veteran singer Fatai Rolling Dollar and a host of other highlife greats such as Tunde Osofisan, YS Akinibosun and the Evergreen Band would be on parade as usual to spice up the Yuletide edition of the O’jez Entertainment Forum’.
Comedians Elenu, MC Shakara, MC Pawee and Cooperative are also billed to perform at the show.
O’jez Entertainment Forum has played host to many people that have distinguished themselves in their various fields of human endeavour. The likes of actor Dejumo Lewis, the famous ‘Oloja of Oja’, Toyin Subair, Dele Momodu, Wole Soyinka among many others have at different times, all stood on the O’jez podium to be recognised.
