Jada Pinkett has talked about being in an ‘open marriage’ to husband, Will Smith but when pressed to offer her reasons, she tried to clarify herself by calling it a ‘grown’ relationship.
43-year-old Jada Pinkett-Smith raised eye-brows when she created room for speculation over their 17-year-marriage. According to DailyMail, while on SiriusXM show with Howard Stern on Wednesday June 3, Jada Pinkett said: ‘I’m not his watcher’.
She was even reported to have gone as far as saying she’s advised her children against getting married, saying: ‘Heck yeah, don’t do it.’
Meanwhile Howard brought up an old quote she had made while on the Oprah Winfrey show, speaking to Oprah Winfrey that ‘if Will wanted to go with another woman then he could go ahead ‘as long as he could look at himself in the mirror’.
This made speculators feel, Jada had confessed to the pair having an ‘open marriage’.
Howard suggested however, that the actress meant more in a psychological sense, and Jada replied: ‘Look I’m not here to be anybody’s watcher. I’m not his watcher. He’s a grown man.’
