Obi Asika Weds At Last

Storm 360 boss Obi Asika has finally exchanged wedding vows with his long time lover Yetunde Bakare.

Obi, 41, has been involved with Yets for years, and it wasn’t surprising when early this year, the pair announced they would be tying the knots.

Very reliable sources told NET the couple got married in Lagos, Friday November 27.

Details are still scanty as at now, but all of Obi’s friends who spoke with NET confirmed the couple finally took the bold step last weekend.

Asika has changed his status on social networking site Facebook, to ‘married’.

”I see you went public on me”, he wrote on his sister Uju’s status, after the excited lady wrote ”To my darling brother and his lovely wife, congratulations on joining the Mr & Mrs Club! So wish we could have been there, sounded like a beautiful ceremony! And to all those who didn’t know, well now you know!”

And there were 18 comments when Asika’s bride changed her relationship status from ‘engaged’ to ‘married’ on Facebook. Even hubby Asika commented ”Thank you Thank you lol”.

Close friends say the couple ‘pulled a fast one’ – referring to the hush hush nature of the ceremony. ‘I couldn’t make it because i didn’t hear on time. The whole thing was done privately, i’m sure they didn’t want drama’, an associate told NET early today.

The wedding, sources told NET, held inside the Asikas’ Lekki residence (in Lagos). ”The registrar came over to the house. There were not more than 50 people present”, a source, who craved anonymity said.

Obi is the second Storm boss to leave the bachelors’ club. Tola Odunsi got married to his partner Onohi Iremiren last year. the last man standing, as it is, is Olisa Adibua.
