The recent cabinet reshuffle by the President, Goodluck Jonathan has seen the appointment of popular entertainment personality, Obi Asika.
Asika bagged an appointment as the new Senior Special Assistant on Social Media to President Goodluck Jonathan. With this, Obi Asika replaces Reno Omokiri who was the Special Assistant to Jonathan on New Media in what is pretty much the same office.
The move is believed to help build a great social media campaign for the president ahead of the 2015 General elections.
For those who don’t know Obi Asika was born Obodoechina Ukpabi Asika on October 3, 1968 and is a 1990 Law Graduate of the University of Warwick.
He is from Onitsha, Anambra State and funded the famous Storm 360 Limited in 2008 alongside Olisa Adibua.
