Notable Nigerian On Air Personality (OAP) Steve Onu, a.k.a Yaw of Wazobia FM will be joining other OAPs to stage an adaptation of Elechi Amadi’s ‘Pepper Soup’ in September 2013.
The stage presentation kicks off on Sunday, September 1, 2013, and will run every Sunday in September at Terra Kulture Victoria Island, Lagos. Other cast members are Wazobia FM OAP Lolo, and NigeriaInfo’s Katherine Obiang.
Produced by Play factory, 2PM Media and Tuale Naija media, and directed by Olusola Roberts, ‘Pepper Soup’ tells the story of an upcoming musician, his pregnant Nigerian girlfriend and a white woman whom he befriends with splendid promises. However, it all comes to a head when all three people including a meddlesome best friend have to live together for a while.
Other actors in the play include radio presenters Kelvin Abidde (Tuebi), Lawal Sheriff, and Carla Chidiac.
