Award-winning Nigerian filmmaker and visual storyteller Nora Awolowo has been announced as one of the speakers at NECLive 2025 on November 28. Known for her unique approach to storytelling, Nora began her career with mobile photography and has since become a leading voice in Nigeria’s film and media industry.
She has worked on notable projects such as Shine by Guinness, Baby Blues, MTV Shuga, and Netflix films like Lisabi and Baby Farm. She recently served as Executive Producer and Cinematographer for Red Circle. Nora also directed a FIFA original documentary on Nigeria’s historic 1994 World Cup debut. Her work has earned her several accolades, including an AMVCA win for Best Documentary, the Gold International Impact Prize at the Charity Film Awards UK.
