Nollywood actress, Rukky Sanda is a year older today. The sultry actress was born Rukayat Sanda on August 23, 1984 to parents from Ikorodu, Lagos.
She attended Lagos State University where she studied Banking and Finance. Rukky graduated in 2004 and began a journey in the movie industry which has seen her become one of the popular names in the industry.
The first movie she appeared in was Angel and the Beast where she played a minor role.
She is also owns her own production outfit, Rukky Sanda Studios which is involved in script writing and movie productions.
Last year, the actress who is also one of the most controversial in the industry celebrated her 30th birthday and was hosted to a shindig by her friends and colleagues. This year, the stylish Rukky Sanda began her day on a spiritual note taking to Instagram to give thanks to God for keeping her till this moment.
Her new movie ‘Dark’ is also set for release and will be premiering at the cinemas on August 28. Her previous productions are Lethal Woman (2008), Obscure Motives (2009), Lovelorn (2012), Miami Heat (2012), and Keeping My Man (2013).
