Sources in the camp of the actress tell NET that, ‘we were at aunty’s shop on Tuesday when this guy walked in claiming to be an Aluminum repairer that was referred to her. So we took him round the shop to show him around and inspect the work he had to do, only for us to realize her two phones had gone missing when he left’.
The Aluminium worker has been identified as 38 years old Adenowo Idowu who was immediately arrested on allegation of theft.
Following the arrest, Idowu was arraigned at a Magistrate court in Agege, Lagos on Wednesday October 22, 2015 and he has been remanded in police custody till the next hearing on November 11, 2015.
In an exclusive chat with NET, Mercy says, ‘I really don’t want to say much about it, but am sure the law should take its full cause’.
She went on to add that, ‘I will like bloggers to always get accurate information before feeding the public wrongly. It’s two mobile phones that got missing, not one as it’s been reported. I appreciate NET NG for reaching out to get the accurate news’.
We can also confirm to you that the actress now has a new Android mobile phone and she’s in the process of retrieving all her lost contacts from the missing mobile phones.
