Chioma has however refuted any claims of perceived animosity towards Mercy, saying she doesn’t have any reason to harbour resentments at her ‘junior colleague’.

‘This is shocking for me. She is my junior colleague, I have no idea what people are saying. My life is so plain and I have no reason to have a beef with anybody in the industry,‘ she said in a recent chat with Punch.
‘I do not have to be friends with everybody; I am not under any obligation to be friends with my colleagues,’ she told the publication.
Chioma’s movie sojourn has spanned 16 years while Mercy has also gone on to be one of the most sought after Nollywood diva since her emergence.
