There has been a rise in new generation worship leaders in gospel music who have taken on the mantle from the older generation. One of these rising stars is Moses Bliss.
Moses Bliss’ journey into music started at a very young age. By age 5, he was learning musical instruments and now plays the piano and drums. He later joined the choir at Believers’ Loveworld church, home to award-winning artistes Sinach, Frank Edwards, Buchi and more.
Moses began writing songs and performing at concerts. He sang ‘Count On Me’, ‘E No Dey Fall My Hand’ and ‘One Yes From God’, but his career really took off in June 2019 when he released ‘Too Faithful.’ It was widely received and became the go-to song for many fan covers from around the world. The live performance of the song has garnered over 21 million views on Youtube.
He followed this success up in 2020 with another massive record titled ‘You I Live For’ featuring Loveworld Indomitable Choir. Moses Bliss continued to impress with his music, and in 2020, he was awarded the Song Of The Year for ‘You I Live for’ at the 2020 Loveworld International Music and Arts (LIMA) Awards. On May 16, 2021, he released his debut album titled ‘Too Faithful’ to much critical acclaim.
Speaking on the album, Moses says it’s an extension of his secret place. “Most songs came from the place of prayer and fellowship with the Spirit. Some songs were borne out of pain and tears, while others out of joy,” said Moses.
Moses Bliss is a Gospel superstar from Nigeria. He rose to prominence with his Gospel hit “Too Faithful” released in 2019. He is the CEO of SPOTLITE Productions Limited.
Moses Bliss recently signed to global independent music distribution & marketing company, Symphonic Distribution for a worldwide distribution deal. This marks the beginning of Symphonic’s emergence in the Nigerian market. Tunji Afonja, Creative Executive at Symphonic Distro, commented, “Moses is leading a revolution in Gospel coolness, swag, lyrical spice and mainstream appeal”.
With Symphonic, Moses Bliss looks to spread his music on a global scale. Jorge Brea, CEO at Symphonic Distro, commented, “We are super excited to help the award-winning Moses Bliss achieve success on a global level”. Speaking on the new signage, Moses said, “I’m super excited about this. We are getting bigger every day. Thank you, Symphonic Distribution, for having me. Let’s spread the message everywhere.”
