Popular compere and comedian, Yibo Koko was among celebrities who attended the opening ceremony of the widely anticipated Big Brother Hotshots in Johannesburg, South Africa on Sunday, October 5, 2014.
NET caught up with Koko, one of the judges of one of the Tv reality shows in the country, ‘Nigeria’s Got Talent’ in an exclusive chat just minutes after the show whose closing performance was rendered by BET award winner, Davido.
Enjoy:
What is your take on the BBHotshots opening ceremony?
It was spectacular knowing all that happened with the fire incident initially and the last minute rush to ensure the show continues and I would say they pulled it off. The audience was particularly amazing and all, from the crew, the performance and housemates went accordingly like tic tack.
Who would you be rooting for of all the contestants even though you are a Nigerian first and foremost?
You know we judged them in terms of their performances, art and talent that were displayed at the opening ceremony, which for me was won by the saxophonist. She was amazing, maybe because she’s female but she did it for me and the other guy, the guitarist but we can only know the kind of persons they really are in the house and not just through their performances at the opening show but also as an individual, personality and how they really are.
