Fuel scarcity in Nigeria is no longer a new trend and it has shaped our way of living for the past 3 months or so.
We’ve heard several false updates on the growing issue as to when it will be totally over – so much so that it’s no longer front page news when such updates come from the authorities.
Going to work, school, farm, market, home, attending gigs, and running of your power generator has not been easy.
Having breakfast, brunch, or dinner at the filling station while on the queue is an unforgettable experience that has been happening to many Nigerians of recent.
The youth, old, students, workers, bosses, and some foreigners in the country are in a constant state of worry, due to the shortage of electricity, fuel, traffic and more.
BUT, if you really need fuel, the three ways to get it will be to…
1. Search for the Black Marketer determinedly with enough money in your pocket…

2. Get to the fuel station as early as possible, and have if it in mind that you have the whole day to spare.
3. Either you display your superman skills, fight, fly or jump the row, JUST get to the control valve – or nozzle as it is more popularly called.
However, have it in mind that the price of fuel in Nigeria currently changes like the weather.
| Months | Official price {per litre} | Black market price {5 litres} |
| January/February | N85 | N800 |
| March/April | N85, N100, N120, N140… Complex | N1,200, N1,500… Complex |
With all this said, you can always trust Nigerians to find the space for fun, as you come across very attractive and creative stuffs on the state of affairs on social media {Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, BBM, Snapchat, Whatsapp} and local newspapers.

Let’s just act in pretense, as the drama continues…
Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.
