Super talented singer and songwriter Kingdom Kroseide came tops in the recently concluded sixth season of Nigerian Idol, one of the world’s most prestigious reality talent shows.
He had a spectacular journey in the competition, capturing millions of hearts in the 10 weeks he ruled the stage. He beat out thousands of wanna-be idols in the auditions and made it to the live shows, where he beat out 10 other contestants to take his place as the winner. His landslide victory has caused celebration and brought happiness to many Nigerians.
Before the final show began, fans had spent days going back and forth about who would take home the ‘Nigerian Idol’ title. After he was announced as the winner of Nigerian Idol season 6, Kingdom broke down in shock and thanked all his fans.
“My grandma always used to say one day you’ll be very great and you’ll take me in your car when I die. And then she died and I was like, ‘where is the dream?’ I just knew I had to continue doing what I was doing with every passion in me. Thank you for always supporting me. At the end of the night, there were thousands of comments on social media, with fans of the show congratulating him on his big win.
Reality TV star and a big supporter of Kingdom, Nengi Hampson took to Instagram to say her congratulations. She said, “Congratulations bro, this is just the beginning, Kingdom!”
One fan said, “Dear Kingdom, I loved you from your first audition. Thank you for making voting for you easy and worth it. Congratulations Kingdom, you deserved this win”.
Another supporter is convinced that this is just the beginning for Kingdom: “Thy Kingdom has come and you will blow beyond human imagination. Congratulations!”.
Fans are so impressed by his win and how well he performed throughout the live shows. One said, “The way you sing so effortlessly without stress is really so sweet. Kingdom you have my heart for life. I’m forever a fan”.
