Fan favourite Mercy had emerged as the contestant with the highest vote, followed by the Stephen Onoche and Joe blue, the favourite male contestant.
So it’s now down to just three final contestants – Mercy, Stephen and Joe Blue! We can’t wait to find out who walks away with the big prize!
Below leaving, Najite entertained the audience one last time, rendering the Bob Marley classic, ‘Everything is gonna be alright’ while the other finalists joined her on stage.
According to organizers, the winner of the show will be unveiled at a grand gala in April where A-list international artistes are expected to perform.
The next Nigerian Idol will win a grand prize valued at $100,000 which includes a management and recording contract. The winner also gets an SUV and many other prizes; including gifts from lead sponsor Etisalat.
The winner of Nigerian Idol will join the elite group of Idol alumni around the world, including Stars like Fantasia, Timi Dakolo and Yeka Onka.

Mercy is a very good singer and joe blue too is also a very good singer, if u leave me 2 choose I go say mercy but on a second thot joe blue deserves it. He has tried! He is gooood! Vote wisely!
To be frank! Last year everyone in my family was not happy wit season one. All we did was just make mouth saying NAOMI wil WIN and we didn’t vote! Stephen onoche to win! His voice is unique!if developed. Mercy doesn’t sing she screams and I think joe blue is overrated! His downfall will be due to charlie boy singling him out!
