Early this morning, Nigerians woke up to the news of the passing away of Micheal Adedoyin, a.k.a DJ Midas a veteran jockey who died at the age of 45 after a brief illness.

He was a great DJ, very dedicated when he was alive, its so sad he’s dead but his legacy will live on.

He’s been around for a while, he’s a boss and its sad that’s he’s dead now. He’s one of those calm and matured guys that stay on their lane. The Industry will miss him.

I really don’t know what to say, he was like a big uncle to me, I grew up studying him, listening to his mixtapes and more. I think the last time I saw him was about three years ago. May his soul rest in peace. We should all try to do our best right here on earth.

I write this with great sadness over the unimaginable loss of a close friend Dj Midas. I can remember when I was in school, back then I always listen to him play and he really inspired me to become a Pro dj today. My Dear Friend and Hope, a Tribute he was in the hospital, I said to myself that I wish I could take away his pain. He has suffered enough of the illness.
