Nick Gordon has begged the 21-year old aspiring singer’s family to let him see her at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, where she is still fighting for her life after being found face down in her bathtub on January 31.
In a statement, his lawyer, Randall Kessler, said: ‘[Nick] has respected the family’s wishes and for that reason alone has not returned to the hospital and risked a public confrontation.’
He also told gossip website TMZ.com: ‘He desperately wants to be with the one he loves and continues to hope that his request will be granted.’
Nick was unofficially adopted by Whitney when he was 12 years old and he and Bobbi Kristina claimed in January 2014 that they had married, but her father’s lawyer recently revealed they never legally tied the knot.
Police have launched a criminal investigation to find out what happened to Bobbi, who is said to be slowly making progress despite still being in coma.
