
Today Friday July 8 at the Glass House, the NFF Technical and Development Committee released an over 20-man list of candidates eligible for Super Eagles head coach before reducing the list to three.
Former Ethiopian coach Tom Sainfiet, Super Eagles’ caretaker coach Salisu Yusuf and Frenchman Paul Le Guen, who once coached Cameroon came tops.
Other coaches that applied to manage the three-time African champions are Giovanni Solinas, Hey Antoine, Mark Wotte, Ernesto Paulo Calvinho, Dorian Marin, Miodrag Jesic, Perry Hansen, Ove Pedersen, Adebayo Lateef Kola, Sylvanus Okpala, Peter Ijeh, Vladimir Petrovic-Pizon, Lodewijk de Kruif, Kenichi Yatsuhashi, Bjorn Frank Peters and Ricki Herbert.
The committee will meet on Monday July 18 to interview the shortlisted candidates and immediately name the next Super Eagles’ Head Coach.
