Popular entertainers Liquorose, Hermes Iyele, Mr P, Kaffy, and other stars will grace our TV screens from Sunday, October 19, at 8 p.m., in a new limited drama series titled Rise Again.
Produced and directed by award-winning filmmaker Unlimited LA, Rise Again marks his debut in television series production. The show follows Charles, a talented but struggling dancer who must overcome betrayal, injury, and heartbreak to reclaim his dream in a fierce university dance competition, the Naija Step Showdown.
It is a story of resilience, redemption, and the pursuit of dreams, highlighting the determination of young Nigerians to rise above adversity.
In addition to the aforementioned entertainers, the series features a stellar ensemble cast including Toluwanimi George, Saint Tioni, KoKoByKhloe, Dada Boy Ehiz, Do2dtun, and Chief Femi Branch.
Unlimited LA describes the series as a storytelling challenge that marked his transition from directing music videos to filmmaking.
“I’ve shot over 1,000 music videos, and I got tired, so I asked myself if I could just transition into filmmaking,” he said.
