Let’s give it up for Awodumila ‘May D‘ Akinmayokun who has done pretty well as a rookie singer ever since his feature on rapper Kel‘s ‘Too fine’ single back in 2009.
After a stint with Alaye’s ‘Ice Cream Records‘, the younger singer got signed by pop duo Psquare‘s Square Reocords and has had his career considerably moved some notches up. Don’t forget that ‘Chop my money’ feature with Akon and the twins too.
His new single ‘U want 2 know me‘ with label bosses Psquare is far less vulgar than his ‘Soundtrack‘ single and we like the new direction. May D’s voice sounds unique on this pop number which will definitely get the radio and club spins. Impressive!
