It’s really never that hard to recognize good music that soothes the listening ear amongst the everyday releases from various artistes. Nigerian alternative singer, CON.tra.diction is certainly a breath of fresh air with her somewhat different style of singing and instrumentation.

‘So sorry’ keeps you enthralled with a repeated crescendo over and over as the sound of the trumpets serenade through out the song. Preaching a story of getting back from every fall, CON.tra.diction calls on the help of usual suspects to this genre sound RoofTop MCs, to complement this number by helping out on the chorus and bridge.

‘Superstar‘ which features EME‘s Skales takes a rather different approach. A rock fan’s delight, CON.tra.diction builds up her subtle mannerism on an up-tempo beat while the young Skales follows the same pattern.
