Sammy, real name Samuel Yakubu hails from the northern Nigerian state of Kaduna and says he has been a fan of good music since he can remember. He says he not only started singing at a young age but also developed a love for dancing and in his teens had started playing the guitar.
Currently signed to Bit Bender Entertainment, Sammy recently released a mixtape titled ‘A Mixtape And Then Some‘, a compilation of remixes and original recordings. Sammy’s R&B style isn’t unique but he falls under the caliber of Ne-Yo and Montell Jordan.
‘Omoge’ a single of the mixtape tells you what to expect from Sammy. feel good music laced with a bit of sensual feel.
