Fresh, young and full energy is how they come nowadays. The new set of emerging Nigerian rappers are making impressive moves. Jerriey might not leading the pack of new rappers but he is definitely in the fore front.
The 20-year-old rapper says he was inspired by music from Jay Z and Eminem but influences from his surroundings also play a big part in his style of music.
‘No time‘ which features Storm Records young rapper Yung 6ix is pacy and bumpy. Both rappers make it interesting to listen as they try to outdo themselves. ‘The clever keep it going, that’s why it’s called the full stop (Fools Stop)‘, Jerriey rhymes.
‘Temperature‘ is slower but makes a def tune. Jerriey balances the syrupy tune with playful lyrics. Nice tune. Listen up
