Nnena Omali first hit the music scene with her cameo appearance on Modenine’s ‘Cry’ back in 2005. We can all remember the beautiful voice that graced the hook and made the song Modenine’s biggest hit till date.
She went on to release her singles ‘Oluchi‘ which was nominated at the Sound City Music Videos Awards. Nnena’s afro-centric style differentiates her from her counterparts. She has however not been able to rise as high as her fans have expected her to.
‘Palava‘ is a subtle satirical song. Filled with guitar strings, drums loops and a piano sounds, Nnena’s voice resonates from verse to chorus beautifully. She passes her message easily but leaves us with a dance tune. Worthy effort
