The aftermath of winning a talent show can be a blessing and sometimes a burden. While we have watched some excel brilliantly after winning, some have had their budding careers held back, soaked with the pressure of meeting up with the public’s expectation.
Casey, winner of the MNET reality TV show – Naija Sings, doesn’t seem to be bothered with the pressure of impressing as he concentrates on what is most important to him – Music. The 27 year old who was a fan favourite on the show is a member of a choir and seems to exhibit a level of maturity with his music.
So on the techno laced ‘Sweetness‘, Casey has a fun filled ride as he carefully matches up with the pacy Tee-Y Mix production. Save for the auto-tune on his voice, Casey displays a strong vocal approach that arrests one’s attention. Worthy effort.
