As the hip-hop lovers await his fourth studio album ‘Commercial Break‘, Segun Babatunde a.k.a Modenine decides to whet our appetite with a second single. Unlike his first single ‘I’m back‘, Nigel Benn unleashes his signature tone and amplifies the energy…
‘Oga‘ is laced with the popular Ajegunle ‘konto’ sound. Following the trend and theme for the forthcoming album, Modey decides to go for a more local sound to appeal to the very stubborn (i can bet the average Nigerian shies away from intellectual music) Nigerian crowd who haven’t quite seemed to embrace the hip-hop genre. And a commendable effort it is! Revolving round the word ‘Oga’, his wordplay use of smiles is exceptional as expected.
The King is back!
