You would think Modenine would even slow down a bit with the release of over six songs in the past few months. Fans are clamoring for an album but the Hip-hop giant has plans of his own.
Yet we have another set of singles off his soon-to-be released ‘Occupy The Throne‘ mixtape; Modey goes in hard as usual and even has something to say about his friend Muna.
On ‘Mind yourself‘ which takes samples from Lagbaja and 2face, the rapper basically petrifies with simply laid out lyrics. Modenine stirs up little trouble as he jokingly raps ‘I’m stingy, hugging the the limelight yo/shoutout to Muna but I won’t pass the MIC jor‘.
Long time friend and producer Kraft takes Modey back to the basics on ‘Spit my sh*t; sampling the recent embarrassing freestyle from US rapper Canibus.
