We all know why Cossy Orjiakor is referred to as a Nollywood star. While her acting skills might be very much below average, Cossy has managed to stay quite relevant in the entertainment scene since her movie debut which was over ten years ago.
It’s a no-brainer though as we all know why she has been a topic of debate or every cameraman’s delight. Yes, it’s Cossy’s endowment; that pair of breasts that has everybody (and I mean everybody) looking her way and giving attention even when they don’t mean to. Cossy has appeared in movies and music videos flaunting her breasts for all to watch.
But it’s a different case when the actress decides to get on the mic and sing. Sound has almost nothing to do with sight so we are all left to listen to what Cossy has to say. Whoever thought Cossy’s new song ‘My body’ would sound appealing to the human ear must have been staring at her boobs while he or she said so. From the lacklustre verses to the monotonous chorus, Cossy gets it all wrong. For the umpteenth time we say NO Cossy, No. Not working. Doesn’t look like this will work anytime soon…
I’d have commended her for her level of confidence but sadly, it’s taking this song nowhere.

The point is,she lacks d creative power to be an artist,dat extra thing dat make ppl stars is nt there.it can work for terry g and be different in her case.I think she’s just doing this for relevance sake.she wants attention and definatly the press is giving it to her,atleast d reveiws on her song are doing quite a gud turn on to make us knw cossy still exist.apart from her boobs which we ve seen so many times!(Guess we re tired of seeing her boobs sef)there is really notin entertaining cossy wants to offer anymore.this song is trowing d paddle in a wrong area.she wants to be relevant!,but I guess this will make her to go quikly irrelevant.notin destroy ppl like a bad song.
Well…Like i always say,making an attempt to create something that peaople will like is better than sitting down doing noting than criticizing without any idea…While we are know say cossy no dey sing, she just trying to entertain us even with her Boobs…if she can put in more effort and discards distractions like this review,she will one day become one of the most wanted entertainer in Nigeria…Copy dat?
