After their successful sophomore ‘Least Expected‘, which churned out the mega hit single ‘yori yori‘, the R&B/hi-life duo Bracket have released ‘Muah Muah’, the first single off the forthcoming album titled ‘Cupid Stories‘.
Bracket have sufficiently understood the art of making hi-life music. With the melodic tones and vocals to back it up, they stand amongst the likes of J Martins and Kelly Hansome, some top hi-life music makers.
But Bracket get it all wrong on ‘Muah muah’; this is what I would call a cheap shot at making a return. With poor compositions and an ultimately weak chorus, the duo can’t seem to fit on the rather up-tempo beat, evidently making the song sound distorted.
Bracket will have to go back to the drawing board to craft out another hit if they want the similar success they had with ‘yori yori’.
