Kenyan President, Uhuru Kenyatta has launched a new HIV campaign Global campaign that will educate teenagers on how to use condoms and reduce the deadly infection in Kenya. This comes after statistics proved that infections and deaths from the dreaded disease between teenagers in the country has rapidly increased.
During the launch of the campaign with the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education and other external bodies on Wednesday, February 18, 2015, the president said since HIV/AID remains the leading cause of death among adolescence most especially in Africa, it will need an urgent attention by educating kids on condoms and other method to combat the deadly virus.
According to KTN reports, the initiative was launched to ensure that children have condoms at their disposal.
