It has been revealed that controversial North Korean supreme leader, Kim Jong-Un ordered his aunt, Kim Kyong Hui to be killed by poison after she complained over the execution of her husband in 2014.
According to several reports, 67-year old Jang Song Thaek, Kim’s one-time political mentor, described as the second most powerful figure in North Korea then, was killed on an array of charges including treason and corruption in 2013, before his wife, Kim Kyong Hui, who was said to have died of stroke in 2014, was later poisoned to death.
Speaking with CNN, a defector whose name is withheld, disclosed that Kim Jong-un’s aunt was killed between 5th or 6th of May 2014.
‘On May 5th or 6th of last year, Kim Jong-un ordered his aunt, Kim Kyong Hui to be killed. Only his bodyguard unit, Unit 974, knew this – now senior officials also know she was poisoned.’
In 2013, Kim Jong-Un, who has a record of executing several people, also executed his ex-girlfriend for making a sex tape.
