According to reports, Elijah, who is said to be from Ikwo Local Government area in Ebonyi State, died on Thursday, December 11, 2014 after boasting he could drink several energy drinks in order to win the sum of N1,600 from one Chikwado Nchinu, with whom he placed the bet.
The police spokesman in Enugu State, Ebere Amaraizu, DSP, also confirmed the incident saying: ‘He was consequently rushed to the Mother of Christ Hospital Enugu, where he was confirmed dead by the doctor on duty.’
