Chinedu Naze, otherwise known as Shank, is set to make a full return to mainstream music after a 2-year hiatus. Shank, who has been off the music radar for a while now, has just signed a new mouth-watering deal with ILL Tune Records and will be dropping new materials in the coming weeks.
Recall that Shank’s first album, King Kong which has collaborations with Akon, D’Banj and other stars, was released in 2009 under the Starville Records imprint. The album had hit songs like his 2008 released single, ‘Julie’, ‘Never felt’ featuring D’banj and ‘Shorty’ featuring Akon.
NET also gathered exclusively that the new deal inked by the Creative Arts graduate of the University of Lagos, who began his romance with music from his secondary school days in Lagos, comes with a new apartment in Lagos as well as an exotic car.
Shank’s last released song is ‘Ghetto’ remix in September 2013 featuring Seun Kuti, Davido, Vector and Kayswitch.
