NET recently caught up with the Fivestar music act who revealed the inspiration behind the song saying, ‘It’s actually a song of true life stories of people complaining about their relationships to me and then I just decided to put everything together to make this monster hit’.

Though I thought ‘Beta Pikin’ was big but ‘Reggae Blues’ became a hit almost instantly and it’s still growing. The funniest thing was I actually wrote that chorus 3 days after the death of my father. I was mourning and preparing for his burial and somehow the inspiration just came’.
