At the just concluded fourth edition of Nigerian Entertainment Conference {NECLive} which held in Lagos yesterday, various brands took the opportunity to announce the launch of new services.

During the opening speech of NET Founder and Chairman of NECLive, Ayeni Adekunle at the conference, he made public the opening of an e-commerce store, NETSHOP.

2. THENETNG officially launched its new music streaming site, Orin.ng

NECLive Chairman, Ayeni Adekunle also announced the official launch of a new streaming site, Orin.ng.
In his words; ‘At Nigerian Entertainment Today, we will continue to follow global best practices in helping consumers connect with the music, news, culture and entertainers they love. We will continue to provide a platform for entertainers and creators to connect with their fans and the brands that care about them.
‘That’s why we started test running Orin.ng in 2015. Today I’m happy to announce that Orin.ng is available to all labels, musicians, DJs, artistes and promoters to upload and share their music to the world.’
3. Readers’ Choice Awards
The inauguration of an annual Readers’ Choice Awards to select one individual worthy to be called ‘Entertainer of The Year’ was formally announced at NECLive4.

4. 2face Idibia was officially unveiled as Campari brand ambassador
Legendary African pop star, 2face Idibia was unveiled as the brand ambassador of Campari (an alcoholic liqueur, considered an apéritif, obtained from the infusion of herbs and fruit in alcohol and water).
5. D’banj announced he will be starting up a physical distribution store in partnership with Gabosky.
