Africa’s creative sector has enormous potential to drive economic and cultural growth, but realizing that potential requires more than talent alone. NECLive 2025’s panel session Powering Africa Through Creative Enterprise brings together industry leaders to explore what it truly means to power the continent through creativity. The panel will examine the practical levers that drive creative industries, including policy and governance, infrastructure and innovation, global collaboration, monetization, sustainability, and the role of AI and Gen Z culture. Attendees will leave with a deeper understanding of how creative enterprise can shape Africa’s development and influence the global stage.
Moderated by Henry Ekewhukwu, the discussion features Chichi Nwoko, Yinka Obebe, Hauwa Lawal, Dolapo Amusat, and Mike Dada. Their combined perspectives provide actionable insights for creators, entrepreneurs, and policymakers looking to strengthen Africa’s creative ecosystem.
The panel will take place at NECLive 2025 on Friday, November 28, at 9:00 AM at the Landmark Events Centre.
