The second edition of the Nigerian Entertainment Conference is well underway.
Pat Utomi was the first of four speakers to deliver his speech for the Business Session titled ‘The Distribution Problem Once and For All’.
The Prof gave an example of how Hollywood has helped advance the American culture, stating that because of its exposure to the world over the years, more people act like Americans. ‘With this, businesses have been advanced’, he stated.
He also talked about how Nigerians who have the passion for show business should take it seriously too. ‘Show business has to be treated like business. And because you love it, you need to learn how to apply things that people have learned from enterprise’.
Utomi also touched on the matter of piracy stating that is a collective effort to fight it; ‘It is important for us to have a campaign to kick against piracy’.
