Nollywood actress and media personality Nancy Isime has won NET Honours 2022 Most Searched Media Personality, a year after she was nominated for the same award.
Using verified data imported from Google Search Console on thenet.ng, Nancy was searched 16,724 times between June 2021 and May 2022. She was trailed by Toke Makinwa with 5,773, Gbemi Olateru-Olagbegi and Bolanle Olukanni.
Nancy is a television presenter and actress. She is known for presenting the gossip show The Squeeze, technology show What’s Hot and backstage segments of MTN Project Fame season 7. In 2016 she replaced Toke Makinwa as the presenter of the popular show Trending on HipTV. Alongside Reminisce, Nancy co-hosted the 2019 edition of Headies. She is also the presenter of The Voice Nigeria 2021. In 2019, Isime launched her own TV show, which she called The Nancy Isime Show.
Aside from hosting TV shows, Nancy has starred in several Nollywood movies. Born on December 17, 1991, Nancy began a career as an actress in the TV series Echoes in 2011, and for 11 years, have acted in over 30 movies, including hit movies like Hire A Man (2017), Hire A Woman (2019), Kambili: The Whole 30 Yards (2020), Superstar (2021). Her recent movie ‘Blood Sister’ released in 2022, became one of the most-watched movies on Netflix shortly after it was released.
NET Honours is an annual people’s choice award presented to deserving individuals in the Nigerian entertainment industry with verified data from Netng via the web and social media.
