Suge Knight has reportedly been charged with murder after allegedly hitting two men with his pickup truck last week.
The Death Row Records co-founder could spend the rest of his life behind bars for killing a man after he allegedly hit 55-year old Terry Carter, who is believed to be a friend of his with his red pickup truck in Compton, California, on Thursday, January 29, 2015.
He faces another charge of attempted premeditated murder after Training Day actor, 51-year old Cle ‘Bone’ Sloan, was injured in the incident as well as charges of hit and run resulting in death and hit and run resulting in injury, according TMZ.
The 49-year old music mogul is currently being held without bail and is set to be arraigned on Tuesday, February 3, 2015.
The fatal incident occurred shortly before 3pm in the suburb of Los Angeles, where a movie shoot involving rappers, Ice Cube and Dr. Dre was said to have been taking place.
Suge, whose real name is Marion Knight, reportedly arrived on set and was asked to leave by security before getting into a fight with two members of the film crew.
The producer, who is renowned for launching the careers of Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre and Tupac, reportedly drove to a fast-food restaurant car park before striking the two men with his vehicle.
However, Suge’s lawyer, James Blatt, claims Suge accidentally ran over Terry and Bone as he tried to escape a nasty attack. Suge has previously been convicted of armed robbery and assault with a gun and has also served time for violating probation.
