Much ado about Annie Macaulay's 'pregnancy'

For the past few days rumours that Annie Macaulay – actress and wife of 2face Idibia is expecting a second child for the pop star have spread across tabloids and blogs.

Despite the widely circulated rumours, the couple has remained silent on the matter, neither confirming nor refuting the story.

But last night Annie stepped out, attending her close friend Faze’s album launch at Oriental Hotel, Lekki, Lagos clothed in a skimpy dress and throwing everyone into more debate.

There are however different opinions from people who saw Mrs Idibia at the event; while some (especially the female folk) believe she is carrying 2face’s seventh child, others feel she’s not pregnant.

Annie and 2face already have a child together – a two-year-old daughter Isabella Idibia.

‘I saw a bump there, I’m a mother, I know these things‘, a guest who attended last night’s gig but would rather remain anonymous tells us. ‘It might just be  way to cement their marriage‘.

The pop star married his ‘African Queen’ in May, 2012.

2face’s management Now Muzik tell NET that they have nothing to say on the matter. ‘We won’t be commenting on this matter, there’s no official statement’, Now Muzik exec Tony ‘Don T’ Anifite told NET in a telephone conversation.

A close friend of 2face says ‘2baba will still talk about the whole thing, just give him time. It’s not like the rumour has to do with something bad. If it’s true, we will be happy and rejoice‘.
