Tiwa Savage walked away with the award for ‘Best Female Act‘ at the 2014 MTV Africa Music Awards, beating the likes of Nigeria’s Chidinma and Ghana’s Efya.
The talented, beautiful singer who released her debut album ‘Once Upon a Time‘ album back in 2013 has consistently been on the charts in and outside Nigeria with hits like ‘Eminado‘.
‘I thank God, my label 323, Mavin, I thank my husband Mr Billz and every Team Tiwa Savage fan out there‘, she said as she picked up her award at the show which held at the International Convention Centre, Durban on June 7, 2014.
