A case of mistaken identity? Yes.
Soundcity VJ Moet Abebe is not happy about a recent interview published by Vanguard Newspaper in which the publication mistook her for former Nigerian actress Anita Hogan.
‘Soooo I read the Vanguard this morning and they post my picture and call me Anita Hogan? Like?…I’m irritated’, she wrote on her Instagram alongside a screenshot of the interview.
The interview was published in the June 29, 2014 edition of Sunday Vanguard’s Potpourri page. It was conducted by an Ayo Onikoyi.
Moet Abebe also bared her thoughts on journalism in Nigeria.
‘Journalism is ridiculous in our country where they either write false stories or they just don’t even check the facts before they print or post stuff!‘, she wrote.
