US comedian and actress Yvette Wilson has passed away at the age of 48 after battling cervical cancer, reports say. She died yesterday, June 13, 2012.
Wilson is best known for her role as ‘Andell Wilkerson’ on the UPN sitcom Moesha and its spinoff The Parkers. Wislon played Moesha’s (played by US singer Brandy) friend through 5 seasons of the hit show from 1996 to 2001.
It is said that Wilson’s cancer was Stage 4 when she passed away.
