Nigeria’s Minister of finance Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala and British High Commissioner Andrew Pocock have been confirmed to be in attendance for the 2013 Creative Industry Awards.
Organizers awards say Okonjo-Iweala will speak on her experience from funding start-ups and growing companies in Nigeria, while Pocock will speak on ‘British-Nigerian Creative Business Environment’.
The Creative Industry Award will take place on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at the British Council Gardens, Ikoyi.
The 2013 Creative Industry Award, organized by the Creative Entrepreneurs Association of Nigeria sees to reward initiative, talent, creativity and entrepreneurship across the creative industries, juxtaposing the central role they play in the development of a competitive and sustainable creative economy.
This Award has ‘14’ categories including the overall winner that will be declared the Creative Entrepreneur of the year 2013.
