This cover image released by Vogue was shot by popular American portrait photographer Anna-Lou ‘Annie’ Leibovitz.
An earlier version which shows the First Lady in a lilac dress had leaked on the internet with rumours Obama was to be the cover lady for the month of March.
The March edition was however covered by US Pop singer Beyonce.
The issue is available on newsstands on March 26.
